yokal is built for whole towns, so it has to work for everyone in them. Our goal is for yokal.io, the yokal app, and our dashboards to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we’ve done on this website
- Every page works with a keyboard, and a “Skip to content” link leads past the menu.
- Buttons, forms, and pictures of the app have labels for screen readers.
- Animations turn off when your device is set to reduce motion, and every number is readable without them.
- Form fields have visible labels, and form errors are announced to screen readers.
What we’re still working on
We haven’t yet had an outside accessibility audit. We plan one before our apps launch, and we’ll update this page with what it finds.
Tell us about a problem
If something on yokal.io is hard to use with your device or assistive technology, email support@yokal.io and tell us the page and what happened. We’ll reply within 5 business days and help you get the information another way while we fix it.
